Need a Certified Appraiser for your Equipment Sale Needs?

Quaker City Auctioneers employs a certified appraiser on staff with support personnel for on-site inspections and inventories. Eric Merback has achieved certified appraiser status in the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA). This professional appraisal society is associated with the Machinery Dealers National Association (MDNA) and also adheres to the rules and regulations as set for by the Uniform Standards for Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP). Mr. Merback has also successfully completed the basic core courses offered by the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) and the International Society of Appraisers (ISA) as well as fulfilled the continuing educational requirements and additional credits required by the AMEA.

Quaker City Auctioneers’ appraisal background has its roots in our many years of experience and diversification. Our database and in-house library is constantly increasing and being updated with a litany of new publications, direct offerings, market data and other available sources of information including on-line national databases. In addition, our daily involvement in the industrial marketplace with buying and selling industrial equipment gives us the current perspective of the business climate and tendencies of buyers and sellers. Lastly, practical auction and liquidation experience lends first-hand knowledge of values and prices.

Our professional, market tested appraisal reports are completed with great care and accuracy. The detailed reports are defensible and are created to withstand the scrutiny and probing criticism of litigants or opposing parties. We have been called upon to serve as expert witnesses in bankruptcy, civil proceedings, estate settlements and condemnation auctions. This action has become a necessary by-product of appraising today and one in which we have previously been qualified in as expert witnesses.

We provide values at fair market, in-place fair market, orderly and forced (auction) liquidation. The purposes for these values are for directed liquidations by secured creditors and bankruptcy trustees, court proceedings, collateral-based lending, re-financing or mergers and acquisitions.
